    Blackstone Edge

    Anyone doing this?

I recall last year Oxo or Bisto missed the descent path, finished 2nd behind Hopey and set up the thread "If I go the wrong how can I blame someone else" thread.

Will there be a rematch this year?

Oxo should have won but the rest is history.

I will be there with a couple of ladies from the club who want to have a go at a short fell race.

PS The fixture book says 3.5m & 1200ft

    See you there John.

Will the Turnslack 06 results be about?

Don't know about 06 Turnslack. I have about 20 years of those results but not 06. I had a chat with Kev and he assured me he will get the Turnslack 07 results out promptly after the race (on that basis it was included in our local clubs fell grand prix).

    Question Re: Blackstone Edge

I'm thinking of doing this race - what's the route? I presume its up the roman road and then on to the trig point and back?

When you get to the trig point, turn left and run virtually to the fence (near the roman road), then turn left for a screaming down hill ride to the stream where you intially started the climb, then back up to the roman road and follow the ouward route back.......as easy as that

See you there (if pass issued by the wife )

He said that last year! I ran 52 fell races last year and all the results are on-line except Turnslack!

Oh ye of little faith. I am confident they will be out quickly this year, it was part of the deal for including Turnslack in the local clubs fell race Grand Prix.
