Ooh I was just thinking this morning whether to plan an attempt for after or before my WHW Race. It may be a nice excuse to do it in May now, provisionally the last weekend.
Ideally I wanted to do it on the 2nd of June, but the missus has the British Champs Race and I reckon most of our club will do the 1000m race, so that weekend fits well.
2 others are starting at Llamberis 2am saturday...... I think i've convinced Paddy to be about that weekend, for breakfast at the pinnicle cafe at Capel
Breakfast Sunday morning at the Pinnicle Cafe at Capel Curig hopefully with 5 new PBers
When all else fails and your soul needs a lift - head to the hills
I'm helping Nicky on the Glyders section, the weather isn't looking too great for the weekend, but hopefully the winds will die down.
sorry I'll miss you on Nicky's PB attempt, Iain. I've a very painful lower back which is preventing me from running at the moment, so can't be there.
All the best to Nicky and anyone else attempting the round.
Sorry to hear that, hope you recover quickly, sounds like you've had quite a summer already. That lakes 2500 looks an incredible run. Good luck if you have another crack.
Did anyone set off yesterday, last night was awful in Nant Peris, cold and rainy. Nicky postponed until next weekend, how about anyone else?
Not too bad today, but changing all the time, still unsure what to do myself today, but feel like shit with a cold anyway.
