Still bumbling on with a pain I'm getting on the inside of my left ankle around the navicular/post tib insertion. I've tried physio (useless) and the usual R.I.C.E, as well as massage, deep heat, contrast therapy and sleeping with a compression stocking on, all of which provide some relief but it just comes back.
I've found that running only mildly aggravates it (if at all) but walking seems to really annoy it and since I'm on my feet all day at work with heavy boots on it never gets a chance to rest. I'm off to the docs again on thursday to browbeat him into getting it looked at by an orthopedic surgeon or foot and ankle specialist, but I'm not confident it'll get sorted anytime soon.
Anyone got any thoughts on how to manage it, or has anyone had similar problems? I ran a 10k PB last week without any problems, so it's not affecting me massively but it is very annoying.
Forgot to mention, it started the beginning of the year so it's getting boring now
