Running my 150th parkrun this weekend at Woodbank Park.
It will be my 30th there, looking forward to the hill (twice)!

Have a good one Swoop, you are a few runs ahead of me.
I suppose you want a T-shirt do you? I've got some spare plane ones I could stencil some pun or other onto. That would make you fly.
I got a morning pass out and did Woodbank last Saturday in absence of a pass out to travel to St Helens XC in the afternoon.
I always aim to maintain 'even effort' on that hill. Folk surge past but I tend to catch up and pass them again by the park gates.

I have run 55 in the last 12 months, must be mad!
The problem at Woodbank is not how to run up the hill but how to run fast down the earlier hill.

50...100...200..squats a day (take your pick). Only takes circa 5 minutes whilst the kettle is boiling.

    Great thanks..

Yeah they are getting global.. Denmark had a few and the US has some not near me..

    That one may work out.

I've never been beaten in a park run but sadly n = 1.. so I'm not getting carried away..

Looks a good trip, have been following. I love the Whites.. rough but some great proper running. and yeah Victory is a nice beer... :-)

First Parkrun ran yesterday in the grounds of Penrhyn Castle and I think theres another one being set up in the Deganwy area in few weeks time I wouldn't think that it would be too long before one is set up in the Wrexham area . that'll be North Wales covered then.good events and ideal as training runs

White Mountains were great but not enough time to get up Mt Washington - and there was a storm up there at the time. Down to Portland (found a park runnish type of 5K yesterday) and then further south. Staying with an uncle in the Smoky Mountains of NC in early December - and guess what there's a trail race and a parkrun (Durham) on consecutive weekends.

Well done Rocksteady - you had a good run and I've seen a picture of you and Arwel outside the castle.

I am at Penrhyn next Saturday, as a warm up for the following day's Conwy Half Marathon.
