And in my case that would mean burn out before the finish, TBH I don`t think those that know me consider me to be sane.
I also did the Cycle time trialing bit way back when, but I always rode to the starts, (steady pace) which seemed to be similar to using the first K or so of a footrace to warm up.
AS to those that only do short races I have nothing but admiration for you , all that training and devotion for a 10 minute warm up then a few seconds/minutes racing, then a cool down and back to the changing room in less than an hour, well done to you all for the commitment you show.:thumbup:
