    Amex

So as not to clog up the Three Shires thread any more especially for those wanting to disect the race and talk results thought it best to let the big guy have his own special thread!!

Steve is having another op today and yep, he's still holed up at Lancaster Royal, I'm going to see him on thursday - give him chance to get over another GA....if anyone wants to leave get well wishes/abuse here then I'll print them off tomorrow and make sure he gets them

Remember he'll need cheering up not made to feel worse!!!!

Can i ask what excatly he's broken as there's conflicting information concerning whether he's broken both lower leg bones or dislocated his ankle and presumable torn some ligaments? One of these is more serious than the other.

I've had texts from him but I won't repeat all that he said - tis a family forum afterall!! What I can repeat though was....

"tib and fib smashed open fracture, they op last night and another op tues more pins"
    .
It's the ankle I think but someone will probably know the finer details - lets just say it was a bit nasty!

Yes, good luck mate. Only met him once so far at the Duddon race last year and he seems a top bloke.

I wish you a speedy recovery.

Good idea Emms, up there for thinking...

As for Amex, stop your snivelling you big Northern Nancy! Sounds like a minor bump, hardly even worth mentioning. I don't know, owt to rest your head on the heaving bosom of a passing fell lovely.

Hope your recovery's not too drawn out. Keep your spirits up. No doubt see you back - Six Million Dollar Man style - stronger than ever: "We can rebuild him. We have the technology" *boioioioioing*

    Positive vibes big guy,
