Amex, I wish you a swift recovery mate. In the broken fibula thread I gave some areas the I believe really accelerated bone growth for me during the summer. I hope that maybe you can take something from it to aid your recovery.
See you at XOTF
The Journey of 1000 miles starts with a single step
Amex has written a report on his injury and subsequent rescue at http://www.ukfellponies.org.uk/
bloody hell Steve, You've just delayed my morning run by half an hour and have you seen how nice it is out there.
Best read I've had in ages
I've been in tears first from laughter and then from your sadness, You are a legend mate, just get your self sorted.
Can't believe you had a private Ambulance to get you home, Shall we have a whip round now?
Love and Kisses mate. X

Wow what a great read!
Really hope it heals up properly and you can get back on the fells!
For those who havent read it, there is a nice and somewhat gory pic at the end so be warned.
That photo is EPIC....and I was just tucking into my tuna mayo butties as well.
I havent got round to reading it yet....I need to show everybody I know now!
Quality post Amex, and a cracking pic at the end (no pun intended). I can't quite work out what piece of your leg is where, but as you broke it in ten places I think that point is moot as it was probably all over the place.
Good luck with the recovery and hope you can race again. I know a lad who has an ankle x ray pic similar to yours after a nasty snowboarding injury and he's in the process of starting to board again so you might be in luck.
Happy Healing
