    Fan Fawr

It went up. It went down.

    Fast! And short! And STEEEEP!!!

67 did it, lots forgetting to call their numbers written on their hands as they fell over the finish line. Some did not even bother to put their age on the entry form.

It's called feral fell-running and its great!

Was just thinking the other day, if I get fit enough to race soon I would love to turn up for Toffers run .......too late again, maybe next year. Pleased it went well, sounds like a proper old fashioned Welsh race, I bet Toffer is itching to be back up there.

Did he manage to get the results out before the runners finished and keep everyone happy ?

Sadly no! The trouble with feral fell races is that the finish marshals have no idea of the finishing order and the times of said feral athletes. I am trying to construct some sort of fiction that is vaguely representative of the events on Saturday

I was working otherwise I would have been there, as I am running again! In a feral way, but don't suppose that would have gone noticed

That was a good quick blast on Sat up and down like that.

Shame I started suffering with a cold and could hardly breath on the way up or down and had no energy so did not very do well. I was that slow our lass thought that I had taken a wrong turn !! - I even had to get our lass to drive home as I was feeling crook and light headed.

Thanks for another enjoyable race.

Always a toughie - no chance for respite anywhere ..... as much fun for a pound as you can get these days!

Anyone know of the results anywhere, fictitious or otherwise?

Well, you were all lucky is all I can say... have been poised for a big racing comeback after a year of injury, planning to do various of the S Wales league.... but at the last moment had the chance of a long weekend in Bordeaux... you can guess which won, so was sitting in a village square drinking finest red whilst you were on the hills... a hard choice but I think I got it right!

See you at the next (if I survive the OMM)

I was considering this, it looked kind of bofraesque and intense but was too far in the end.

You could try a rather novel idea of mine. Give everyone a blank results sheet + a list of race competitors and let them fill it in as they want. They could then "frame" their winning results and times and hang them on the wall etc.

Everyone's a winner so to speak, and just think how popular the race could become, for perpetual race losers
