It is a cracking training run. I think it took my about 6:30 on a murky, wet day. I really enjoyed it and would love to do on a warm summer or spring day. Highly recomended

Daz. Thanks for that, Kinder Killer looks a good option for me. Might attempt that later this month.

Perhaps a summer forum meet up to do the Dozen could be arranged ?

Daz - you'd easy do 5.30 if you either knew it really well, or had a couple of 'local' pacers. When I did it I don't think I had to get the map out at all - but then I've been playing on Kinder for about 40 years!

DanAzz & I did a few more Kinder Bobs today:
Madwoman's Stones down to Ashop Farm (that's a nice one)
up to CK, down to bottom of Jaggers
up to Nether Moor, down to YHA (messed that one up by dropping too early towards Clough Farm)
up to Druid's Stone, down to bottom of Ollerbrook (also messed up - came down brook itself - don't ask why! )

I know most of them now (although need to revisit a couple) - will probably attempt in a couple of months when there's a bit more daylight...
Scramble the rock face through the glare of morning sun — to run

Would you want some "slow" company? I'm keen to give this a crack this summer

Probably worth noting to those that have this on their tick list. You must go pre June to improve your chances, Where is it is possible all year round it is much harder when the bracken is up. March-April -May are probably the best months, I think there are some DPer's going around again this weekend.

I'm planning to go round again sometime during the next few weeks, although I prefer a Bowden Bridge start rather than Edale.

I highly doubt you'd be a "slow" as me so that should be no problem
if I do fix a date, I'll announce it on here
[although be warned: I do tend to do these things on the spur of the moment depending on mood/weather forecast, and sometimes using a day off work in the week]

It was a good day out, weather was really kind until the last climb (and descent) then zero visibility.
Keen to have a go at a few more, piecing the whole route together over time.
