    Brain injury - James Cracknell

Interview with wife of rower James Cracknell about his gradual recovery from brain injury and what it is like for her. I put it in this section rather than in General Chat because anyone could injure their brain at any time, perhaps especially fell running, or cycling - which is what JC was doing when he was mown down - and I think many fell runners also cycle. There is important information here from a consultant about the vital importance of taking recovery slowly. Best to learn it now BEFORE a possible emergency arises.

This completely passed my by when it happened. Gutted for the pair of them when I heard about it on wireless this morning. Still, they seem to be doing well. She's got a great sense of humour. You're right, could happen to anyone. *looks for some wood to touch*
