    FA Cup

Well how did your team get on?

Me and mini Macc Ladd version 1 went down in the Armada of 68 coaches from Macclesfield to Stamford Bridge. Nearly 5000 Macc fans made the trip. Pretty amazing turn out.

Up until our keeper getting sent off the game was pretty good and when we equalised to make it 1-1 the Macc fans went wild.

For most of the game the Macc fans were outsinging the Chelsea fans. These premiership supporters need some singing lessons. Must be pretty dull in those big grounds otherwise!

If you ever do make the trip to Stamford Bridge, don't go by road! (or not at least in so many coaches...) we clogged up west London for at least an hour before and after the game...

Was gutted for your keeper. Young Tommy Lee is a Keighley lad so was hoping he would have a blinder !

Macc didn't stand a chance once Tommy Lee was sent off and we didn't have a substitute keeper. Miles broke down with an injury with 15 minutes to go and Ince had used all the subs by then, so we finished with only 9 men on the field. They were looking pretty knackered with 20 minutes to go, didn't have the legs when they got a chance to counter attack.

Be interesting to see how many of the 5000 that went down to London turn up for the next game at the Moss Rose!

Had a cracking day out in Doncaster. The mighty Whites won 4 - nowt and we got to take the mick (polite version) out of a load of Yorkies! Twas my daughter's first away match too. All we have to do now is beat Arsenhole away in the next round and thence onto glory! First FA cup @ new Wembley has got Bolton's name written on it!
