    A lot of hard ground and tarmac?

    Not what first springs to mind when I think about the FTOP! There is a tiny bit at the start and end, but in the large section between, you will require full fell shoes, easy choice to make really

    I'm sure the organiser of Pendle realises you need to run barearse to fully appreciate the terrain.
