    First time at this race. Loved every minute of it. Only did it because of trawling the forum, seeing previous threads and realising it was doable for me. The forum is the best place for race info if you ask me. I was ready for the full tour, but that can come next year. Thanks to the organisers and the marshals. It was grim weather, but I thrive on that sort of thing. Builds character and such like...

    I'm active on a few forums, and all the ones that have an equivalent on Facebook have seen a big drop in traffic. Even UKC, that has no obvious alternative, has seen a moderate reduction over the last few years.

    I've just caught up with reading this thread (sorry I'm so late!). I ran at Pendle last week and was pleased to scrape in the top 400! I emailed the organiser to thank him and all the marshals and to applaud his decision of route bearing in mind the weather warnings, whilst also trying to give the runners a good outing.
