I was at the FRA AGM after the race - where were you all? I didn't bump in anybody except Darren Fishwick who regaled us with Pendle (area) race reports!

What a top man he is

Also surprised to see numbers folded to the bare minimum taking a way the sponsors name. Why would a company sponsor a race if your company name won't be shown on photo's across the web. Without the help of Pete Bland Sports and Moorhouses Brewery the race would be more expensive. It was not runners new to fell running either!

Makes you wonder doesn't it? It's simple, just follow a few basic rules. Hope they all had full kit; one mistake and things get serious.
Missed having the bread tags, and only one marshal was recording numbers.

Saw quite a lot of this, numbers on shorts too...although there was a big debate about this kind of thing on bookface not so long ago...the mind boggles!

Thanks to all at the Tour of Pendle on Saturday, great conditions, matching views and brilliant support from marshalls and others. I love this race and wear the t-shirt with pride!

Here we go again! Keiran's fun run tomorrow. I'm helping the venerable Mr Tait marshalling at the bottom of Big End. Always a laugh as first timers see whats ahead of them.

Tell them that next time they should race flat-out down the descent to the CP and momentum will then carry them half way up the climb.

Well the bit they can see anyway.
