Yeah its not so bad at all really, I nearly got round it on sunday with no water/food, until it decimated my right leg lol. But that was my fault of going way to fast down a descent.
Ha ha-i know ive done it before.
Still too heavy to run
Well the good news is I've decided to turn up for this one. The bad news though is that I'm fairly confident Pendle won't see me at my best having had the lurgee for the best part of the last two weeks and done bugger all running.
I might even turn up and do a nice pleasant trot round and not bother trying to put my racing head on
Aye ohreet?
Once the Stollster hits checkpoint 1 he'll be off through the blood, mud and guts and into the mist and drizzle.. oh that'll be mizzle then.
Pity I won't be racing to push you that little bit harder stolly, hoping to be around on the hill though so don't think youre getting off lightly.
I've decided to rest my tiny legs from extreme distances for a while, hamstrings are running on empty.
Good to hear youre back at it.
why do we do?

I'll be hanging around somewhere within spitting distance of the pub
Unless I make a miraculous recovery from newly-acquired injury, I could well be with you, ukhursty. Since spitting is a skill I've failed to acquire, I hope the inside of the pub would be an acceptable alternative.

Indeed, I'm hoping for a miraculous recovery. But its un-likely. 10% chance atm.
