    Hehe aye looks like it!

I think there alot of people who got quite lost up there in the clag yesterday, my parents met a woman up near the trig totally lost, trying to get some sort of bearing from her compass.

Very tough if you hadn't recce'd it, unless you were lucky enough to tag onto someone who actually knew where they were going, not thought they did

    Re: Full Tour of Pendle

I managed to get round ok with no problem from the injury I had earlier in the week. I did it a little bit faster than last year which considering the conditions and the extra bit of course thrown in I was pleased about. Trying to put my cag on at CP8 was a highlight for anyone watching when I did my impersonation of a whirling dervish flailing around trying to locate my cag sleeves in the strong wind .

Thanks to all the marshalls for a great job especially the guys on the later CPs as it was pretty miserable up there by the time I arrived. The guy on CP10 even checked I knew the right way off the trig point which was good of him as some runners might not be thinking too straight at that point.

It looks like most of the SS "Care to join me" group got round after all so well done guys

Not happy. Link below is probably my favourite out of the set which I decided to have a play with the HDR software on. Will post a link up to the others when uploaded.

That's a cracking photo that. Love the mud splash from the front runner and the light on the water.

Didn't realise you were there Alf. Glad you had a good time!

Best CTJM performance came from Rachel of shaunandrachel fame: put in a storming 3h34 run to beat me by 2 mins and hursty by 4. Well done Rachel!

Ah sorry you missed out on a raffle prize Merry, feel really bad now for dragging you away.

Nice to see Tussockface, John Cox, Cheese and IDP. Told you you'd get sub 3 hours Ian! Well done Cheese, great result this year, it makes a massive difference when you know where you're going!

Big thanks to all the organisers and marshals who braved the wind and rain for so long, and especially the little chap at the final gate who was stood in a bog collecting tags, it's very much appreciated, the race wouldn't be on if it weren't for you.
