Vince just out of curiosity did you at any point have to “Get off and milk it” or was it all cycle-able and therefore hopefully all runnable?

From what I remember, the majority is signed and ridable (depending if your calves were up to it. The first section has loads of gates (we worked as a team opening and closing gates) One bit was hairy on the bike, but ridable by the fitter ones. As it is designed for horses as well, I should think it has been fairly well maintained over the years (hopefully!)

Good man Vince, you have now idea how comforting and reassuring that reply was.

    Leg 4

I reccied leg 4 last week. Its all well marked and the tracks are easy to follow especially if your using the route description.

I will be there, don't know what leg yet until team captain tells me!

I've done leg 3 and leg 5 in previous years, enjoyed both but leg 5 is probably favourite out of the two.

Route descriptions are provided by the organisers. I've attempted to tie these in with the OS maps. Use them at your peril. I have not been round legs 3 or 5 myself.

    Overview | Leg 1 | Leg 2 | Leg 3 | Leg 4 | Leg 5
