    Interesting there are 2 files there that say Currupt!

    This is in the Data section where the backups are. However they are dated as 16th april under properties. should I delete them and try again....

    Just move the corrupt files to another directory first Ian then try it and if it works ok you can delete them then (the belt and braces approach !)

    no joy I'm afraid still getting same message. On the plus side I have found the majority of my Scotish maps which when I loaded them I put in to a seperate file first, these i can up load back on but still no WP/routes tracks etc.

    OK if you have to go down the data recovery road then if they are Garmin tracks they will be in the Garmin History file. They will be .TCX files which can be converted to .GPX files.

    YES!:w00t::w00t:

    Not sure how but down loaded all my WP from my GPS, then tried the Overlay again and POW it all reappeared.

    Maybe it needed to be closed down between uploads. I don't know and I don't care. it's all back and it's all mine!!!!!!!!!:w00t:

    I'd suggest you take a copy of that backup .mmo file and stick it somewhere off the PC. I've had a couple of occasions similar to this and its a horrible feeling when you think all your routes and tracks have gone
