Now everyone , including me, seems to wear Inov8 I feel like I want to go back to Walsh. Can pick up pb Trainers for £45 in Go Outdoors at the moment.

I agree (and this is partly why I was intrigued by the red ones just to switch it up a little from the usual colors). I've been running in inov8s for several years now and I've recently come to realize that the x-talon rubber compound is just too "mushy" unless you're running really soft, wet terrain. The Walsh are just a little stiffer and I feel less wobbly when running hard pack compared to the elevated lugs on the inov-8s. Plus the super sticky rubber is overkill in my opinion as it creates too much resistance when running downhill and catches on stuff all the time...but I'm getting off topic here.

I think, at the time Walsh needed an order for about 20 pairs and then you could have whatever colours you wanted.

does anyone know if this is still the case?
