Never having been a NB man, I'm unclear on size.

An earlier post suggested sizing up.

Any thoughts?

How is the stock position? Thought the website only had 9s and 12s or something.

Any list of other retailers available anywhere?

I am in charge online marketing for the official New Balance store in UK, www.shopnewbalance.co.uk. We originally planned to introduce the 101 early next year but I was also pleasingly surprised when I found out that it would be available in November. I have not tried the shoes on but they are great looking shoes. They won the Trail Runner Editors' Choice award and we are getting very positive feedback from runners so far. The weight is 226gr. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Is the sizing on these comparable to the 840s? A lighter version of those would be great...

It looks like this is what they've done but with the 840 midsole as well so its built up at the heal, not really why most people wanted this model in the uk

We had limited number of sizes between 9-13 but all other sizes are gone. My colleague from merchandising department is out of the office today so I can't tell if there are more sizes on order. I will let you know as soon as I learn more.

I am not an expert about the product and the sizing but this shoe runs true and the shoe last is RL-3. I suggest that you look at our New Balance last guide before deciding which size to order. We offer free returns and exchanges so if the shoe does not fit right, we can exchange it.

I believe they are comparable because 840's also run true and their last is RL-3 as well but I would talk to a customer care specialist before taking my word for it.

Yes the mid sole seemed more important than the sole change. I wonder what the drop on these is, it looks bigger.
