Brooks gloves - WARNING

I bought a pair of Brooks hi viz running gloves from Pete Blands' in the spring and up until now they've been great. BUT, they have little magnetic tags that hold the pair together - really neat until you have to use them with a compass!!!!! Could cause some very awkward moments and confusion if you had forgotten about the tags and were blaming compass malfunction; local lead mine workings; or jacket zip; etc. for why your route finding was completely bamboozled. No That I would be so stupid, of course!
