Another fine day in the Dales, managed to get myself reprimanded for swearing in the pub afterwards, i can't take myself anywhere these days. Although technically i was correct- the Grisedale Horseshoe is a total effing beasting. An appearance from Wendy Dodds today after winning a prize at the Hobble yesterday, and a win for Sam Watson after doing the Trollers Trot the day before, but Jonny Bradshaw was pushing him all the way.

Looking over towards Sulber Nick, i estimate a 57% probablility that Stolly is in this picture somewhere

Great fast course, never done it before. shame next week's the last counter, the competition's bought my running on no end.
Good pics Mr B, but swearing in a pub? the very thought..
Thanks for the photos, even if for some reason the sequence has me towards the back!

Got any more Wharfee? I'm a bit giddy this morning - still excited about finishing 4th lady yesterday, so the more pictures the better!

Contrasting Ways To Climb The Big Wall At Austwick
A very warm and sunny day dawned for the final counter of the Kendal Winter League. Having been out drinking on Chris Newman's stag do the previous evening, Sam Watson and Ted Mason were both feeling rougher than Ernie's coat, and the feeling of refreshment looked to be lacking a bit. Jonny Bradshaw, however, was looking very fleet-footed and took the win.
Some mountains. Don't know which ones, Wetherlam maybe, looked good though.
Don't know who this was, but 'e was 'avin far too much fun!
The pack of 4 chasing Bradshaw. Ted later commented on how good Mike's lines were off the cairn, carrying him to 2nd place.
Personally my favourite photo of the day, Lakes runner Colin Valentine.
