Derby My reason for thinkin off not making it offcial are less pressure, wanna have fun doing it. If after 18 hrs i 2 hours behind an no chance of doing 24hrs i might stop going/give in!!! if i just doing it unofficial i HOPE id cary on an complete it! Still hope to get people to help our attempt. NOt made a final decision yet, would love to do it officially but just wanna give the best chance of doin it. Will decide by end of feb, an will off been an done 2 legs by then also ,so will have more off an idea as to chances.

Well its about 3.25 miles up and 3.25 miles back and includes getting on for 2,400 feet of climb/ascent. Maybe an hour up and 35/40 minutes back? When I ran the 3 peaks (of Britain) I seem to remember it taking just under two hours there and back and we couldn't park at the usual start point (which was jam packed) but instead started from the bottom of the valley (in god awful weather and as the last peak of the three).

I ran the whole 3 peaks (ish) and, from memory, definitely ran the pyg track; it had a very nicely spread out gradient to it. It was however chock a block with walkers.
