    Kneeler chairs

Does anyone use one of these? I am suffering with my back especially sitting or standing (running isn't so bad as it happens) and thinking about one. I have tried one at work and it seemed good but was advised to get the right size, well looking on Amazon there are some with good reviews around 60 quid and all seem to be a pretty standard size. I am tempted just to order one but any advice would be welcome.

    Thanks

My mother-in-law's got one... very comfy. I'd certainly consider getting one when I eventually move.

    Hi Grouse,

    Perhaps you are.

I am sure I have heard that those chairs are not recommended these days, although I may be wrong.
Good luck with the back problem

You are not wrong - ergonomists do not recommend these chairs as they create other problems.

If you have a bad back then a fully adjustable chair should be more than suficient and there are many different types about. By adjustable I do not just mean changing height but tilt, seat length, lumbar support etc. Mind these chairs are not cheap but if it is for work your employer is legally obliged to provide a suitable chair that suits your needs.
