    Re: High Peak Marathon

What about the weather today Luv-Shack? Sun and a light dust of snow- perfect! Its look beautiful up there from here, what about from your side? I was a bit concerned myself this weekend, not worried about you lot but the checkpointers-they might go on strike! I've been through the forum- thanks to Luv-Shack and others for answering queries. Re support the spirit of the event is to be a self supporting 'expedition' out in the wilds etc- we're not going to disqualify anyone over it but don't give out food parcels, clothes etc And if we start to get chaotic queues of cars at each road crossing we'll be upset- ok? See you all Friday
Here's to the laid back fell runner...

    Rich,
It's looking fab this side of the Watershed today..... Kinder is in top condition, Downfall running crystal clear, with its icy plume riding high in the sky...
(Sadly can't see it lasting until Sat pm...... but, you never know!)
    See you Friday

Yes, I can confirm that the whole of Kinder was in tip-top condition today, having just spent 8 hours going around, up & down most of it (Kinder Killer it's called, and now I know why!!)

That was my final training run for Friday/Saturday - just need lots of rest & plenty of food between now & then.

    See you all on Friday.

We are struggling to fill one of our spaces after someone has dropped out. We are waiting to hear back from one last sub and I'm starting to feel a tad twitchy.
Are there any superheroes who could step in if our last hope falls through?
