Had a pleasant run out this morning in breezy but dry & mild conditions (rain stopped soon before the start) - Pleased with time of approx 45.38mins.
Spent most of the race tracking Norman Bush (2010 v70 world mountain running silver medallist) until I passed him just after the 5mile marker, only for him to outsprint me right on the line!!
Thanks to all at Ripon Runners for fitting the rearranged race into an increasingly busy calendar.
Entered this one again, this year on 30 December - anyone else running it?
Hmmm. Perhaps I should enter, haven't done this for a couple of years ...... it's a cracking little run. It always used to be run first, scrape mud off and then beer in the One-Eyed Rat afterwards. I think I'll enter, but participation will depend on how my legs are after the Tour de Helvellyn!
