Calendar 2011

Today I and other members of the FRA Committee were given hard copies of the 2011 Calendar which will shortly be posted to members.

It is the usual immaculate production (and with some adverts now in full colour) that we have come to expect from Margaret Chippendale, with assistance from Brett & Jack Weeden.

It takes Margaret many months of work to put the Calendar together and she deserves the gratitude of every one of the 6000+ members of the FRA.

As, of course, do the other committee members who spend their personal time on behalf of the membership on matters relating to the environment, championships, coaching, The Fellrunner, website, juniors, welfare, international selection,...

Not to forget Britta Sendlhofer who sets the Calendar up for printing (and improves the formatting) - this used to be done at the printers. As a result production of the Calendar is more streamlined and it is easier for me to make changes at a late stage. We also knew that the Calendar should be printed and dispatched in less than a fortnight from the date Britta sent it to the printers.
