2010 total measured mileage?
As we wave goodbye to 2010 it gives us time to reflect on our years activities.
What is your total (measured) mileage?
So far I have totted up a measured 629.42 miles and have a further 70 where I forgot my Garmin, or didn't take it (Running in Oz).
I have also climbed 126596 feet and am glad that I have also descended a similar number of feet!
How has your year been and how many miles have you done?

As of today 1087 miles and 137851 feet of climbing. A relatively flat 1087 miles when compared to yours Rodders!

I'm well behind you guys but I have been out with injury a couple of times so I suppose it's not too bad. 650 total miles and about 75-80000 feet of ascent/descent
I haven't got a Garmin (or any other brand), so I can't measure feet climbed for the year.
However, it looks like (if I keep going till the end of the month) this year, I'll have covered circa 1,320 miles
That's a combined figure for running to work, training, fell-races & road-races
(I've just checked, & 2009's combined figure was only about 850 miles!!)

1277.3 miles, and 211837 ft 4 inches of ascent. Aren't spreadsheets wonderful? All measured with MemoryMap, which is equally wonderful.

I'd be about 2500 miles as I am most years. God knows what climbing . I don't record mileage anymore and I'm a more centred person for it. You can be a slave to the training diary if your not careful. This year I decided not to.
Oddly I managed to lose over a stone in weight and vie got loads quicker.
Done a lot of mileage on the bike. As well. Def over 170 miles a week before the clocks changed.
Finally vie trained to time and not miles. Should have done it years ago and not waited till I was 40.
This week vie done about 10 hrs various training.
I say train to time, forget mileage.
983miles to date - should make the 1000 by 31st Dec
