What a night never stopped raining well until i finished the race anyway
not sure of my posistion yet but got 16.51 on my watch

I clocked 18:26 which isn't very good but the best I can manage at the moment.

I'm glad to say that my timings agreed with yours. Hope the rest of the runners got the right times.
It was hard enough having to write times down at a rate of over 30 a minute at the peak period
without having the rain reduce my recording sheet to a soggy mess!
The results were on here before midnight last night. Well done to Mike Welford and John Schofield for that.

Thanks for your encouragement Swoop (at critical part of race - overtook someone who I don't think I've ever done before) - and thanks to you and all the officials for standing around in the damp. Perfect running conditions for me though - even managed a pb - and my time was correct despite slight confusion in the funnel in front - so well pleased.

Just squeezed under 24 minutes. Well done.
Sorry about the congestion in the funnel but people were all arriving at once! I'm just glad we
managed to record everyone. I think 250-280 is probably as many as we could handle in a 5K.

Not a problem - I accept such things as an occupational hazard with road running. Drifting in 3rd from the last in a fell race is far less problematic!
