All systems go at the moment.

I'm checking after lunch tomorrow and again at 8:00am Saturday, so check on here before you set off and if it has to be cancelled I will tell you.

But I think we will be OK.

I may change the route - check out the maps that will be pinned around the Pavillion area, just in case.
More for the marshalls than anything, we have a 600m leg on the large lap at the moment which will only be used twice in 5 races, so I may cut that out to save the marshalls when they are pulling the course down at 3:30 after 3 hours standing in the cold.

So the race is on - inspected today and the course is firm as you would expect but most of the ground is in decent nick.

I have taken the saucer out though - it is extremely rutted on the descent and if we get a snow covering I would be faced with devising a new course in the morning.

So we will be using the School Hill and the distance will be largely unaffected with 4 large laps for the senior men.

I will check again in the morning at 8:00am - but I am sure it will go ahead - any problems and I'll post here.

I'll leave this one to you Ady I can't get my car out of the snow drift that surrounds it parked in front of my house .

It look like is going to be darn hard to get there for anyone travelling from the Bolton area
