Sounds like a right outting for the Staggers.
Up for the weekend and stopping over in Whitehaven.
Nice report Daleside, keep up the good work.
Good fun today.
Many thanks to the CFR team led by Chris Knowles, standing in for Harry Jarrett - just back from "travelling"
Lots of marshalls and support out.
Not much ice.
Apparantly new route down was a result of lost permissions to use the fields.
A break with tradition of a prize for everyone robbed me of my only chance to win a prize!
Some top runners there - most of whom came past me a bit too early on.
Gavin Bland looks lean and fast, and was one of the few to run the entire length of the "chimneys", rumour has it he has turned 40?
First back Johnny Walkingshaw - very nicely handicapped!
Fastest man Rick Lightfoot,
Fastest lady Pippa Maddams,
Results up on cfr websiteNot IT. Competent to post a direct link!Handicap and race times there.
Just back fron the lakes, cracking event. Sorry I only made the first climb before a calf injury forced me out.
Here is the results link.

Great little event with everyone being clapped home.
Thanks to the orgainser and his happy team of helpers.
One week to go.
Great format for a change, handicap event.
The aim is for everyone to finish at the same time
quite a difficult task, what with me just getting over that broken leg and other such sstories.
Good fun, good course, fells that not many will be familiar with..Flat fell ( not flat) and Dent ( not an insignificant dent, especially climbing from behind )
looking forward to this Jennings! I hope I make it, as I didn't make it yesterday to Blake. Not really sure how to get my handicap time!?!
See you there fingers crossed.
Kat
All known assessable form will be taken into account.
However get there early, and have a word with with the organisers - there will be a big board with lots of names on. Find someone on the board you know, make a suggestion for your start time in relation to those you know. Try not to express disappointment, when your advice is ignored.
Or you could try a tenner in a plain brown envelope.
