    Hi Matt
I'm running with multi-terrainers. It's muddly in places coming down off Stoodley Pike but I think most of the course is on tracks/not too boggy. Possible to do it in road shoes maybe.
    Anyone else?

Given the weather we've had it has to be trail shoes. It will give you more grip when dodging fallen runners wearing road shoes

Don't dodge, run straight over 'em, that gives an even better grip.

Just try to avoid the big hole in the road about 50 yards after you start/50 yards from the finish
