    When I first started organising the hobblihike numbers were dropping, so decided to allow solo runners.

    Numbers started to pick up, then Mark Hartell started his distance running championships and was kind enough to include it for the last couple of years which has certainly had an effect on numbers.

    Having said that - 300 entrants is enough!

    Suppose it couldn't be part of the ultra champs if it was only pairs could it?
