Anyone pick up an OMM Ultra bottle out on the course? Probably towards the bottom of the Callow Hollow 'slide' - it would appear that may have inadvertently discovered a bit of a design issue with the OMM Ultra bum bag
Jim'll be so pleased he's got his own thread. Hope Ali/Graham don't mind I've blogged the sequence...

Enjoyed watching that, and some of the others that were on there. My arse is still sore from those descents....
Thanks Mercia for a cracker
Yes. My first Long Mynd but I will be back. Cracking descents.
out of interest, for those that did the race ...
after the final checkpoint did you choose the steep decent or the more gentle path?
I've done the steep drop both times ive done the race, but was wondering if the path was quicker?
Last year I did the gentle path, this year the steep decent. According to my GPS the steep route was almost 2 minutes slower for me  (I got to the final check point in almost exactly the same time on both occassions). I know that my legs were in tatters by this stage and that the underfoot conditions were a little challenging this year, but next year I will revert to stretching it out on the gentle path.
