    Running in winter - video

Inspiring VIDEO from "Running Times" with gorgeous scenery in the hills near Boulder Colorado and a scarily good looking hero. If this was a movie, Tony Krupicka would have to be the psychopathic killer, no question.

If you look about half way down this post of Tony's, you'll see why he doesn't have time for a haircut.

Speaking as someone who wore her hair long for many weary years, I can tell you that looking after long hair is much more time consuming than cutting it off. And to do him justice, T.K.'s hair looks freshly shampooed. Top marks for effort on more than one front, especially as in the video his living conditions appear somewhat primitive.

And in his FAQs bit he says he doesn't stretch and he's only had about 10 days off through injury... Flipping heck.

Evidence that stretching helps prevent injury in endurance runners is pretty close to zero. Having said that I do it at times just in case it does help and because it feels nice.
