"No opinion poll may be published on the day of the election until the polls close, or in the case of a European election, all the polls have closed across the European Union."
As I see it, that's democracy in action.

Thanks to all those who voted. A clear majority want to disaffiliate. However, if you voted and are NOT an FRA member (or if, sinfully, you voted more than once using an alias) please PM me and let me know which way you voted. I will NOT reveal your identity, but I want to get a true measure of the feelings of individual FRA members who use the forum. I will issue an amended result in 2 DAYS.
Thanks.

Is it meant to be this hard?
Well, I got one PM from a non member who had voted to disaffiliate, so that weakens the yes camp by one vote. So unless anyone knows of other lurkers who have not declared themselves or naughty double posters (but see Rgals post on 'trust'), the outcome of this poll is that 80 voters took part with a 2 to 1 majority in favour of leaving UKA. Wonder if that will be reflected in the main ballot?
