    This Season's Triathlons

    I know there are some triathletes on the forum, how are your race schedules shaping up? So far this year I've entered;

    Chirk Sprint 17-04-11
    Snowdonia Slateman 22-05-11

    I'm hoping to be able to do the Alpe d'Huez (short course ) on 28-07-11 if my wife can get the time off work. With a bit of luck we'll get there a week early & watch the Tour de France go up AdH.

    Depending on how things go over the next few months I may have a sneaky go at the Bala Middle on 12-06-11.
    I've just decided I don't trust you anymore.

    Wenlock Olympian Triathlon is always a good one, its changed a bit for 2011 in that the swim is in the new pool at Much Wenlock. Early July - have a dig about on the web, its a great event. Where else can you get your own Olympic medal??

    Harlech Tri on the 15th May is a great event.

    400m swim
    28km cycle
    6.5km multi-terrain run with a cheeky little hill at the end.

    How hilly is the cycle route? used to running on hills, not so sure about cycling up them yet

    I quickly put the course into MapMyRide & it gives total climb as a paltry 144mtrs;
