mmmm.
cheers for the tip about the Golite Rush, not sure how that one passed my 'exhaustive' search. The shortlist has just got bigger! :w00t:!
Still looking for anyone experience of the original two.

Trying to plod up hills every day slightly faster than the day before
I tried the 10 ltr Raidlight, on paper fitted the bill, wanted accessable pockets and small size. However tried on and at 6' was just too small, could not adjust the straps and the water bottles sat too high on the chest. Currently have a OMM 15ltr and does fit the bill but have also suffered from lost bottles. Picked up a 22 ltr Aaarn at xmas for 1/2 px,too cheap to resist :-) great for running to work and carrying stuff and really like the idea of the front 1 ltr pockets. Not yet tried unloaded, with a day load
The go-lite looks good. Duncan Harris won the Fellsman last year with one. Apparently it's one of the few bags where the bottles can be taken out without being a contortionist or undoing the straps.
I like this raidlight at the moment half the weight of the endurance 10l which now looks a bit ott to me.
Re: the Go-Lite - I can access the bottles without removing the bag, and put them back in. It's not the easiest manouvre in the world, but much easier than anything else I've tried. It is possible to do it whilst keeping running. I'm not a big fan of running with a hydration pack, but it is also compatible with a platypus.
The hip pockets are great. Surprisingly roomy.
Great blog Fly, I've just signed up to follow.
Be Humble. Sit Down.
I love my go lite rush, especially as it comes in different back lengths, which is great for those of us that usually have to put up with our hipbelts doing up around our ribcage!
Cheers for the kind words simgreen. Likewise an excellent blog yourself.
Re the go-lite. I remember Duncan Harris posting on this very forum asking for advice on the same thing. He was after a sac were the bottles could be accessed on the move and had omitted the last drop and ultra 15 OMMs for that very reason
Looks like I will be winning the Fellsman this year then!
Thanks everyone for the advice, I have opted for the GoLite Rush. just need to decide which colour now!

Any chance you could give us a review of the GoLight Rush Superflyguy?
Salomon raid revo12 is good, plenty of pockets space etc. Also have a camelbak octave xc which is very good when used with a 1.2l bladder.
Sorry no help with your short list tho.
Dooh sorry SFG just noticed you have made yr choice
