They were definitely the right choice. I'm not the greatest on my feet at the best of times so I'd have been really struggling in trail shoes on that course.

Will emphasise the studs and full body cover if we run it again- think a few people were caught out

Any thoughts feedback on any aspect of the day will be essential for our wash up meeting Wednesday

Funny you should say that TT - whilst I think its a tad early to start the pre 2012 recces myself, Tim Brooks and others need to trot round the route this weekendto check impact on moor / remove any remaining sign of the race. (you're more than welcome to tag along)

In the meantime I have been plotting the 6 Trigs (28 mile round from Heptonstall). Its actually 7 Trigs on our version (we go to standing stone hill before Bridestones) - this will be 3rd year that 10-20 of us have done it as a big social run. Thinking of getting the CVFR long runners out. Problem is date. Will need to be either 3rd of 10th of April
    What do you reckon TT?

I don't know about trotting Steve, I was planning to race and get some club champ points.

Good plan Tim - anyone who missed HFR (ie me, you, marshalls, injured) all agree a start time - then leg it at race pace - in club gear- totally competitive- no chatting! What about Sunday - say 8am start??? Don't forget clocks go back!
Can Tod Harriers give the Grand Prix points to Toddies too???
Maybe Dwain has recovered and can get his second attempt?
