    Re: Today's Gym Session

I recently have been introduced to spinning at my local gym. What I thought was a bit of a gay 'cycle to music with an instructor' has in fact turned out to be a complete lick out - not helped by a lack of air-con in the place.

I was pleasantly shocked at how much I thought that it had worked me out. Like most things, it all depends how much resistance you use on the machines and some people quite blatantly coast along.

I could be quite take by this training and do a little more.

Another home session. Now got to the point of squating as much as whats probably safe to do at home with just a bar and plates. Really wish I had a power rack!

    5k rowing, 1min steady 1 min tough.
    10 min crosser 1min alternating
    10 min bike 1min alternating

Legs are getting tired but no race till 7th of Sept so can just keep going steady.
Dropped a pound and a half this week after hols so returning to a better lifestyle.

Stagger you need to make sure that the steady duration is half that of the tough. I know it's a pain, but it will get results. Even if it's a minute tough and 30 seconds steady.

Good work Stagger. Hopefully you'll see a difference come weigh in if you keep it up.
I'm about to embark on a Chad Waterbury programme which should be good.
