    Yeah so much good stuff, just a little depressing at times as you can feel so weak and unfit! Though it does serve as a good kick up the arse when it comes to motivation as well as showing just what you can do if you put in the time and effort. Just wish i had a Hybrid Athletics or Elite FTS near me!

    Rob Orlando and a few others are amazing, the rest I'm not so sure. Looks like there's a lot of bad form and potential injury going on. Think the best way is to take some crossfit elements and mix them with decent strongman/powerlifting with good technique and you'll be on to a winner.

    Inspired by this, when I only had an hour in the gym today I did a variation of this using deadlifts, burpee box jumps & Swiss ball h-stand presses:

    6 Rounds of...
    6 x 60kg Deadlift & shrug (reducing to 5, 4, 3 etc. each round)
    10 x burpee box jumps (stand just in front of box, do burpee, at end jumping over box w/ twist so facing box from other way ready to do number 2, & repeat);
    5 x Swiss ball h-stand presses ( do plank off of Swiss ball, feet on ball, tuck core in so in pike position (inverted V with feet on the ball). Lower head to floor & back up.

    Each round, drop 1 deadlift, keep all other reps of other exercises the same.

    Them did some easy bench presses & some core work. oh so aol of writing.

    Good work SS, as I said to Steve I think the best thing to do is take elements of cross fit and make it work for yourself.

    Gonna be first time on squats and deads after the all clear this afternoon. Had man flu for the past few days so had to put it off even longer so been pretty grumpy to say the least.

    Squats, ohp, deadlifts, pull ups, dips and HIIT.

    Got a slight ache in the piriformis but no pain which is good. Just need to take it easy with lots of stretching and gradual weight increase to get it used to working again.
    HIIT was on the treadmill 15 seconds on 45 off at maximum incline. Nearly puked, which is always a sign of a good workout :thumbup:

    Plan for tomorrow:

    500m/1min rest interval row

    Circuit on similar basis as y'days:
    6(5,4,3,2,1) deadlifts @60kg
    10 burpee box jumps
    10 get up stand ups (10kg plate)
    20 bellringers
    7/max pull ups

    I can see these circuits just building and building...!:w00t:

    Maybe throw some muscle ups in there SS instead of the pull ups for a bit of variation and extra pain.
