    That's nothing, Ken, you should have seen my ascent UP the parachute the week before. It was like I was flying, man!!!

    can't believe I forgot to mention you in my report Ken
    so I will do it here
    Many Thanks to Ken for catching me up on Mungrisdale Common and supporting up to Blencathra summit

    I went down Doddick, got down to the wall in 22 mins, then took a leisurely stroll down to the Works in a further 11 mins - I'd scheduled 29 mins and probably could've done that if pushed
    but then yesterday I went up and tried the "Halls-Fell-except-missing-out-the-steepest-bit-near-the-top" variation
    pretty sure I made a right hash of the top bit (found bits of trod here and there) but got down to the Works in 24 mins without even really pushing it :w00t:
    this is now the Slug-Approved Variation!
