Good race, more a kind of trail run once you are up on the ridge, but bloody loved it.
One of the best after race spreads I have ever seen too, thanks to all at Keswick for that
Definitely a race of 2 halves for me. Struggled with hydration / energy issues on the 2nd half. Having said that the climbs, apart from the 1st one, weren't too long that even I could put a bit of effort in. Had nothing left to give by the time of the descent of Clough head back to the finish tho'
Thank you to all at Keswick and the cricket club for the fantastic spread and a pleasure to meet Martyn P amongst others today.
This BG round & the training therein is dedicated to the fond memory of Daz H - there is no such word as can't.
Thanks to the organisers of yesterdays race. An excellent afternoon in great conditions for my first run of this route. I managed to take a few pictures from the back of the field during the race: http://www.flickr.com/photos/4773480...7633730480273/
Thats really good, nice idea. I set out with taking it easy in mind, enjoy the view a bit, but that didn't last 1m from the start to be honest.
Some Photo's at the Finish http://www.fellrunner.net Well done All.
This is a cracker Stu. Good work mate!
