He's right, you know.... it was a rather special moon at the weekend... nearest to earth for twenty years - it look huge because not only is it 14 per cent bigger but more importantly it's 30 per cent brighter than other full moons. Unfortunately we had our Bat Run last Thursday and didn't see a thing... on Saturday night it would have been like running under a spotlight!
"You gotta put a little bit of ****ing fairy dust over the bastard"
I was running on Saturday night on the Hardmoors 55 and saw it rise - a big orange hazy orb shining through the horizontal streaks of high cloud. I would have taken pictures if there had been a wall or fence post to rest the camera. It did look impressive.
Mine looked impressive when I saw it rise too.
Tao begets one. One begets two. Two begets all things.
Does Uranus have any moons............woops wrong thread, should have been the anal problems one

I shall not be holding my breath!
Visibility good except in Hill Fog

Here's me, thinking this thread was all about "Moon" bicycle lights??
I was a bit of an oddball until I was abducted by aliens; but I'm perfectly OK now!
And apparently it's not the "dark side" that the Chinese just landed a robot on. The dark side points to us sometimes. It's the "far side".
This brings Gary Larson into the mix and removes Pink Floyd. Though we still have "frosty the snowman" of Ultima Thule. Until yesterday I thought this was a top of the range bike rack.
