Just returned from shopping in Ashton-under-Lyne town centre. Not the best shopping scene in the country but good for locals. What really bugged me this afternoon, considering I have been working all week and only get chance to visit the shops on Saturday and Sunday, is the old people. I agree old people have a place in the world, but please just make it not the shops on a weekend. They have all week to go shopping. I think some of them go to the shops just to get in the way. I was in no rush this afternoon but the old people were everywhere.

So, should old people be banned from shopping on a weekend?

I would consider 40+ as being old.

Old age refers to those who dont get up at 5.30am, go to work all day, then do more work at home and repeat this process 5 days out of 7!

Old people should be banned between 12 and 2pm during the week as well so we can get our shopping during lunch time.
I've often wondered why people who can shop all week go shopping on a Saturday? It just naffs me off when there's too many people about - I certainly wouldn't do it out of choice!

Logans Run - they got it right. Except that it should be over 40's who get exterminated, not over 30's.

The answer's quite simple really...

Don't go shopping on a Saturday afternoon - or any other time, for that matter.

Get Mr Tesco to deliver food and booze once a week, visit the running shop once a month - job done
