I recall many posts commenting on the feeding frenzy when a copy becomes available to buy but hardly anything from people who have actually read it.

    Odd?

Anyway the first 80 editions of the Fellrunner (1970-2006) will be available to read on line shortly.

All part of the FRA service!

Thank you. I didn't realise it was on here. Wanted to read it for ages. :-)

We have a copy of SMOTS which we are willing to part with. Not looking to give it away but open to sensible reasonable offers. It's in excellent condition. Send us a message if you are interested.

I received an alert this evening to say that Grove Books at Bolton Abbey had a copy for sale priced at £15.
I responded within 19 minutes - just out of casual interest, you understand - but it had gone.
    Well done somebody!

I was a bit of an oddball until I was abducted by aliens; but I'm perfectly OK now!

    Most certainly is...

God only knows why I bought it, like I said, totally forgot I had it.

Because it is the definitive book on the history of fell running and the early classic races, there will never be a reprint, there are fewer than 1800 in existence,...?

Indeed! Mine is a component of "the estate" that I will be passing on to the offspring.

    Knew there was a reason...

Given up running on vet's advice, hope it goes to someone who will appreciate it and not just 'find it' every few years and put it back in a cupboard.

It's priced to sell, no reserve, got a bid on it so it'll go this time.

    Good luck to anyone interested

    Kind regards
