I am hoping to run at this year's event and not last year's, obviously!
Bit of a bu££er because our club race takes place at the same time - seeing as I'm now a UKAA Grade 1/2/3 A/B/C race official since I was one of only 3 in North Wales who filled in this funny WAA form I'd better give it a miss and be at The Fairy Freckled Cow Trail race http://www.denbighharriers.com/index2.htm

Still it's a scenic route just right for road runners who just might be on the verge of converting to off road stuff.

That might suit me but i'm up for Moel-y-Gamelin as it's a club counter for us so i'll have an attempt at that. Hope the race goes well Martin. Did you get a 10k run in the States?

What with that description & the description for Hotfoot up Famau, I used to be quite a nice fellrunner didn't I? Not like the mean, curmudgeonly muppet hating elitist I now am .

Anyway, I've found a black & white photocopy of the route. If anyone wants me to scan & send a copy drop me a PM with your email.

There you go I'm all nice, warm & cuddly again.
I've just decided I don't trust you anymore.

Did you run today Gaz? Enjoyed that course, not sure of winners though as prizes were given out as people finished.

    Re: Moel-y-gamelin

Long story Harrymoon, including Bar-b-que, marshmellows by fire light, too many Boddingtons (thanks Widdy) and a power cut meant alarm didnt go off and I didnt wake up in time to get to race. Only race I had convinced the family to come and watch apart from cader idris (because Mrs. Gaz like the look of the Ponderosa cafe) and we all slept in; never happened in the Gaz household before but there you go. Many thanks fellrunner for the map, unfortunately I didnt need it!

    Many thanks

    Gaz
