anybody do it ?
I did but I'm not sure that counts. A few of the usual suspects who appear at a good number of the local derbyshire fell races, and only about 3 or 4 dark-siders.
results went up here

having a drive up to do this . done it a couple of years ago and thought it was a great little race . anyone else doing it ?
Will be there tomorrow. Haven't run it before but I live down the road so included the course in my training run last night. Looks good for an out and back blast, and looking at previous results the front runners finish in some quick times.
Won't be there, off aiming for a mug (whose the mug?) at the downfall, but I know a good few folks round here heading over.
Definitely a year for road shoes on that descent. Keep a little in reserve for the fields when heading up.
'Normal' people are the ones you don't know very well.
Mrs Amex's first race back after a 4 month lay off for a broken ankle.
She has asked the question Speedcross or Walsh PB she is a tad nervous
Thanks in advance
Steve
Going to try again....
From memory, and assuming the course hasn't changed, you run up a stepped gravel path, round a field at the top and back down again. Could be a bit slippy if the path up and down is wet.
Dont be afraid to get in touch with the RO or the http://www.wirksworthrunningclub.co.uk/ They are a friendly bunch. I ran in Wave harriers last time so Speedcross should be fine unless its v wet.
We got a mug last time too http://sbrtrfr.blogspot.co.uk/2010/03/mug-for-mug.html Woo hoo!
Thanks guys fingers crossed all will be well
