    BG Success 26th May

I saw 2 teams out anti-clockwise and 2? teams clockwise this weekend.
One of the clockwise teams was a group from Keswick supporting a Londoner, andn the other was a solo attempt with minimal support. He looked half dead when I saw him. Anyone know of how they got on?
The anticlockwise teams both succeeded I have been informed, one, Northumberland Fell Runners(?) in animpressive time of something like 21:45
The other a team near my home, Totley AC got Mark Wilson round in 22:15
Well done to all those invloved

I think there was at least 5 people doing a clockwise round!
Mike Vogler did a sub 22 hour round, there was someone doing a solo attempt, there were two parties behind us at Honister and John Fleetwood who had been pacing Mike on the first two legs decided to warm down by going all the way round

Northumberland Fell Runner was Paul Hainsworth.

Was out rock climbing in the Lakes yesterday and we were remarking what a good day for doing the BG it was.

So we have three successes to press: Mike Vogler; Paul Hainsworth & Mark Wilson

Well done to Mike Vogler, I was supposed to be supporting him on leg 2, but had to pull out at the last minute due to injury.

Glad he made it back for last orders!!

    Well done Mike.

I took a few pics and also a few video clips. Not as much as I would have liked but my injured leg meant I could keep up with Mike.

Can't walk today! Actually makes me feel a bit better about not being able to keep up with Mike yesterday . I think I must have had a bit of an injury which stopped me from running properly downhill and on level. Obviously 65 miles didn't do it much good - frozen peas and ibuprofen today.
