Bad traditions tend to get axed - good traditions can be threatened by modernisers doing it for no good reason - Blair was such a person in my opinion - almost everything he pontificated on was wrapped up in terms like "as we move in to the 21st century".
My point was well made whether you agree or not - you are being picky and heading off at a tangent CL as is often the case.

In fact now that I think about it - I missed the Royal Wedding as I was in bed - having been up for nearly 48 hours with our lass in the local delivery suite - how dare I want to grab 90 minutes kip! Never mind the wedding - the Sore Legs family were having their baby girl delivered ! The 2nd baby born on the royal wedding day in Hereford but more importantly our first baby.:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

    Re: The Royal Wedding

Congratulations sore legs, i missed the royal wedding as i was taking our 5 month old out for his first run.
Went out with a group from accelerate in sheffield, took him in a running pushchair, followed by cake at the shop. Ruben seemed to like it, contented for the first 3 miles then asleep for the other 4!
    Enjoy the new arrival!

Wow, great stuff Mrs Sore Legs! Congrats to you all!. The woman brings the baby girl in and the man gives her away. Been thinking about what to say on THAT car journey!
